The Retreat is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful sandy shoreline of Koh Samui, a tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand.
The property is part of the Santikhiri community, developed in tandem with the Kamalaya Resort, which was voted the best spa in Asia in 2009 and 2010.
The Retreat is situated on close to 1½ Rai of land (about 2,400 M2), with two houses built to conform to the hill's natural canopy and rock formation. The main house is spacious, made up of two floors and a loft. It consists of a master bedroom and en suite, a study, a guest room, two guest bathrooms, a walk-in closet, a laundry area, and a kitchen with a bar and dining area adjoined to a wide veranda with a sea-view.
The guest house, independent and separate from the main house, is very open and has three levels with a beautiful sea-view. It consists of a master bedroom, a walk in closet, a guest room, and a kitchen and dining area. Underneath the guest house is an additional suite, complete with a kitchen and a bathroom, along with extra storage space.
Both the main house (about 300 M2) and the guest house (about 150 M2) are self contained buildings and isolated from each other.
The Retreat is currently offered for sale at 22 million Thai Baht (648 thousand USD). The land would be acquired on a standard renewable 30/30/30 year lease as part of the Santikhiri community and the villa structures would be owned outright. Terms of sale are negotiable.
